How to Care for Your Jewelry and Preserve Its Radiance

Storing Your Jewelry
Storage is essential. Keep your jewelry in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight. Ideally, store each item in its own pouch or compartment to prevent contact - and this scratching - between pieces. Particular attention should be paid to diamonds: their hardness may scratch other gemstones. We recommend jewelry boxes with separate slots to keep every precious creation safe.
Gold and Precious Gemstones
To clean plain gold or pieces set with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, or emeralds, use warm (not hot) water with a mild detergent (e.g., dish soap). Soak briefly, then gently brush with a very soft toothbrush. Rinse under running water and dry with a microfiber cloth.
Pearls
Pearls require special care. Never soak pearl necklaces, as moisture can weaken the silk‑cotton threads. Instead, wipe pearls with a soft cloth dampened in a specialized pearl‑cleaning solution, then lightly rinse with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly and allow to air‑dry in the shade.
What to Avoid
Avoid boiling water and harsh chemicals - bleach, ammonia, salicylic alcohol - those can cause irreversible damage. For colored stones, steer clear of ultrasonic cleaners that may induce micro‑fractures or damage fillings. Always use gentle brushing, and avoid sudden temperature changes that could stress gemstone structures.
